Students from the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas have begun a short-term specialised programme at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi. This was reported by the news agency Orient.
The project has been implemented by the Emirati side with the support of the UAE Embassy in Turkmenistan and is aimed at developing cooperation in the field of high technology and training personnel for the oil and gas sector.
On 6 July, Bayram Bayramov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the UAE, met with the students, emphasising the importance of educational cooperation in strengthening relations between the two countries.
The diplomat emphasised the government’s support for young people and the importance of acquiring cutting-edge knowledge and modern technologies, and wished the programme participants every success in their studies and professional careers.
