Turkmen students performed brilliantly at the prestigious Universiade at the Moscow State University

Students of Turkmen universities achieved impressive success at the Lomonosov-2025 International Universiade organised by Moscow State University. Turkmen students won 2 first places and 6 prize positions, confirming the high level of preparation. This is reported by the online edition of ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.

The absolute winners were Arslan Mamedov from the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and Lale Rzaguliyeva from the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly. Four students of the National Institute of World Languages (Guljemal Guyjova, Daniela Gerb, Diana Dallakyan, Leyli Ishanova), as well as Perman Kiyasov from TSU and Yaran Khudayberdiyev from the Agricultural University were among the prize winners.

A total of 20 students from five leading universities of Turkmenistan, including the Medical University and the International University for Humanities and Development, represented Turkmenistan. Their knowledge of Russian, English, German and French languages was particularly impressive, which was especially noted by the organisers.

The Lomonosov Universiade held in several stages is one of the most prestigious intellectual competitions for students. Turkmen participants have demonstrated outstanding results here for the third year in a row, which testifies to the high quality of language education in the country.
