A delegation from Turkmenistan took part in the VII International Conference ‘Information and Communication in the Digital Age’, which was held from 25 to 27 June in Khanty-Mansiysk as part of the XVI International IT Forum and UNESCO's intergovernmental programme ‘Information for All’. This was reported by the news agency ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.

The conference was attended by about 120 delegates from more than 40 countries, including experts in the field of IT, politics, scientists, journalists, as well as representatives of educational and cultural institutions.

The Turkmen delegation included Esen Hojaguliyev, a lecturer at the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan, as well as representatives of Turkmen public organisations Begmuhammet Meredov and Kadyr Amandurdyev.

The event included plenary meetings, sessions and round tables on issues related to digitalisation, the development of artificial intelligence, information security, cyber hygiene and cultural diversity in the digital age.
