Turkmen schoolchildren won a convincing victory at the ‘iWISE Global Final 2026’ International Competition, which took place from 14 to 16 February in Dubai (UAE). This was reported by the news agency ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.

More than 400 participants from different countries took part in the competition, and the teams from Turkmenistan won 12 medals: 2 gold, 6 silver and 4 bronze.

The gold medals went to Selim Begmyradov (Secondary School No. 7, Ashgabat) and Abdyljelil Patyshagulyev (Secondary School No. 97, Ashgabat). They became the best team in the competition in the ‘Line Follower’ category and received a special prize.

Silver medals were won by Abdullah Annayev, Muhammetkasym Annayev, Saranur Annayeva, Polat Saparov, Bilalkerem Berdiyev and Aysenem Akmyradova; bronze medals went to Ebubekir Berdiyev, Muhammedulemin Annayev, Rahman Garrygulov and Gurbanmuhammet Magtymgulyev. The special jury prize went to Muhammedulemin Annayev (Secondary School No. 6, Ashgabat).

The participants were trained by teachers Myrat Sahetgulyev and Halil Kovusov from the Specialised Educational Complex No. 1 in Arkadag and the ‘Kämil Bilim’ Training Centre.
