On 29 June, celebrations and a conference dedicated to the second anniversary of its founding were held in the city of Arkadag. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

Forum participants discussed issues of digital and environmental transformation, noted the high level of medical and social facilities that meet international standards, as well as the contribution of the private sector to the development of the city.

A festive concert with performances by national and foreign artists was held on ‘Arkadag Binasy’ Square. The event ended with a song sung by all participants, setting a festive and solemn mood.

The city of Arkadag is built on historic Turkmen land and combines modern digital, environmentally friendly and communication technologies with traditional national architecture. In two years, the city has received international awards for innovation and ecology, including the main prize at the ‘World Smart City Expo 2024’ in South Korea.
