On June 25, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister Myahri Byashimova and Senator of the French Republic, member of the France-Central Asia parliamentary friendship group Samantha Cazebonne. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The interlocutors discussed the development of interparliamentary cooperation and the need for regular contacts between the foreign affairs ministries of the two countries. Particular attention was paid to educational cooperation, in particular between universities in Turkmenistan and France.

M.Byashimova expressed gratitude for France's support for Turkmenistan's neutrality and reaffirmed her commitment to strengthening inter-parliamentary dialogue. Both sides emphasised the importance of mutual visits at the high and parliamentary levels.
