On 17 October, during a government meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov reported on preparations for the 30th International Conference and Exhibition ‘Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2025’ (OGT 2025). This was reported by the news website Asmannews.

More than 70 foreign and about 30 local companies, as well as representatives of relevant ministries, have already registered to participate. About 1,390 delegates are expected to attend the conference.

The forum's programme includes plenary sessions devoted to innovation, energy transition and the role of Turkmen natural gas in the global energy balance.

After hearing the report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised the importance of such events for the development of the country's fuel and energy complex and instructed that the conference be prepared and conducted at a high level.
