On 21 October, a delegation from Turkmenistan led by the Chairwoman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Dunyagozel Gulmanova, took part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Kremlin Wall in Alexander Garden in Moscow. This was reported by the press service of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.
The event was held as part of the cultural programme of the visit, organised in accordance with the approved plan of intergovernmental events.
The participants in the ceremony paid tribute and expressed their deep respect to the soldiers who fell during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. After laying the wreath, the delegation visited the ‘Moscow Kremlin’ State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve, where they familiarised themselves with historical and cultural monuments symbolising Russia's rich heritage.
