Today at 18:45 Ashgabat time, the ‘Arkadag’ Stadium hosted the debut match of the Turkmen club of the same name in the second division of the Asian Champions League. Their opponent will be Uzbekistan's ‘Andijan’. This was reported by IIC.

At the pre-match press conference on 16 September, the formal details were confirmed: the hosts will take to the field in white uniforms, while the visitors will wear red. ‘Arkadag’ footballer Mirza Beknazarov emphasised the importance of the game: ‘We will make every effort to implement the coach's plan and achieve a positive result. We are counting on the support of our fans.’

The match is a historic event for the Turkmen club, opening the way to participation in the prestigious Asian tournament.
