Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Qatar Myratgeldi Seyitmammedov held negotiations with Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs of Qatar Ahmad bin Mohammad Al Sayed in Doha. During the meeting, the expansion of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries was discussed. This was reported by the IIC.

M. Seyitmammedov highlighted Turkmenistan's initiative to declare 2025 the International Year of Peace and Trust, emphasising the importance of this initiative for global cooperation. He also informed the Qatari side about upcoming events to mark the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality, which is the basis of the country's foreign policy.

The meeting reflects mutual interest in deepening partnership, including possible joint projects in trade, energy and logistics.
