Turkmen karate fighters won two bronze medals at the 23rd Asian Cadet and Junior Championships (under 21), which took place in Shaoguan, China, according to the news agency ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.

Almost 500 athletes from 30 countries took part in the competition, organized by the Asian Karate Federation WKF.

The Turkmenistan team was represented by eight athletes. The first bronze medal went to Gurbannazar Amandurdyev, and the second to Garamammet Garamammedov. Both athletes train with the national team under the guidance of head coach Aydyn Charyev.
