On 11 September, Atajan Movlamov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, held a meeting with Raimundas Karoblis, EU Ambassador to Islamabad. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic mission.

A. Movlamov congratulated the European diplomat on the presentation of his credentials to the President of Pakistan and wished him success in his mission.

The parties discussed the prospects for expanding cooperation between the EU and the regions, including Turkmenistan, noting their interest in developing cooperation in various areas and issues of sustainable development.

Infrastructure projects such as the TAPI gas pipeline and the TAP power line, which are key to the region's energy integration, were discussed. It was emphasised that Turkmenistan has significant energy potential, opening up new opportunities for partnership.

At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to maintain constructive dialogue and develop mutually beneficial relations.
