On 7 October 2026, the Second International Conference entitled ‘Universal Health Coverage and the Sustainable Development Goals’ got underway at the ‘Awaza’ National Tourist Zone. This was reported by the press office of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.

This high-level forum aims to improve the healthcare system, achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and strengthen international cooperation. It also serves as a platform for sharing national experiences and promoting positive initiatives.

The conference will continue with a plenary session and thematic sessions.
