The Central Asian Youth Forum, held under the slogan ‘Health and Sustainable Development as a Path to Peace,’ has concluded in Ashgabat. This was reported by the news agency ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age.’
Participants discussed digital technologies and artificial intelligence, support for start-ups, addiction prevention and the development of cooperation in the fields of education and healthcare.
Following the discussions, a draft roadmap with proposals for countries in the region was prepared, which will be finalised jointly. Representatives of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and the EU expressed their gratitude to Turkmenistan for organising the event.
As noted by CADAP 7 Programme Director Ernest Robello, the forum's proposals will form the basis for further action to develop regional cooperation.
The forum emphasised the importance of actively involving young people in policy-making and continued to implement national and international initiatives, including the ‘Strategy for International Cooperation of the Youth of Turkmenistan for 2023-2030’.
