On 4 February, Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Turkmenistan Mohd Suhaimi bin Ahmad Tajuddin. This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects of Turkmen-Malaysian cooperation.

Particular attention was paid to interaction in international organisations, including support for the candidacies and initiatives of the two countries in multilateral forums.
