President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah identified the fuel and energy complex, transport and communications as promising areas for the development of bilateral cooperation. This was reported by the news agency ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.

The negotiations took place during the President of Turkmenistan's working visit to the United States.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised Turkmenistan's strategic geographical location and its rich natural resources, which create conditions for the implementation of large-scale international projects. In this context, the President of Turkmenistan expressed his readiness to cooperate in the creation of the East-West and North-South transport and transit corridors, as well as in the promotion of major energy initiatives, including the construction of a gas pipeline (TAPI).

Touching on the political agenda, Serdar Berdimuhamedov recalled that, on the initiative of Ashgabat, the UN General Assembly proclaimed 2025 the International Year of Peace and Trust. In this regard, the President of Turkmenistan invited Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah to participate in the international forum, which will be held on 12 December in Ashgabat.
