A meeting was held in Abu Dhabi between Bayram Bayramov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the UAE, and Francesco La Camera, Director-General of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). This was reported by the online news resource TerraNews.

The negotiations were held within the framework of the 30th meeting of the IRENA Council. Francesco La Camera congratulated Bayram Bayramov on his appointment and wished him success in his future diplomatic activities.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation between Turkmenistan and IRENA, as well as the agency's participation in the upcoming Neutrality forum to be held in Ashgabat. The Head of IRENA confirmed his intention to participate in this event.
