A meeting was held in Tbilisi between Dovletmyrat Seyitmammedov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Georgia, and Georgian film director Tengiz Malania. This was reported by the Orient news agency.

The parties discussed the creation of a documentary film about the development of relations between the two countries. The project will be timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality and the declaration of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust.

The film, supported by the Georgian Ministry of Culture, will cover key areas of cooperation, from politics and economics to transport and culture.

The parties expressed confidence that the film will be a significant example of cultural diplomacy, strengthen mutual understanding and inspire new joint initiatives.
