On 13 December, a meeting was held in Ashgabat between Rashid Meredov, Foreign Affairs Minister of Turkmenistan, and Russell Dlamini, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Eswatini. This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan.

The Prime Minister of Eswatini arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the International Forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, International Neutrality Day and the 30th anniversary of the country's Permanent Neutrality. During the meeting, he congratulated the Turkmen side on the anniversary of its neutral status and noted the importance of the forum as a platform for strengthening trust and discussing topical international issues.

The parties discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres. Particular attention was paid to the need to establish contacts between the business communities of the two countries.

At the end of the meeting, mutual commitment to developing cooperation within international organisations, primarily the United Nations, was confirmed.
