Foreign Affairs Ministries of Turkmenistan and Botswana discussed cooperation and preparations for international conference

On 16 July, a telephone conversation took place between Turkmenistan's Foreign Affairs Minister Rashid Meredov and his counterpart from the Republic of Botswana, Penyo Butale. During the conversation, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation that are of mutual interest to both countries. This was reported by the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan.

Special attention was paid to preparations for the upcoming Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC 3), which will be held in Turkmenistan in August. The ministers confirmed the importance of this international forum for addressing pressing issues facing landlocked countries.

The talks took place in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, demonstrating mutual interest in strengthening bilateral relations and developing multilateral cooperation in the international arena.
