From 10 to 12 October, representatives of Turkmenistan and the United Kingdom in the field of education and science held meetings in Ashgabat as part of an international exhibition and conference, according to the news website Asmannews.

On 11 October, at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a delegation from the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, under the headship of Deputy Minister Azat Atayev, met with representatives of British academic organisations, including ‘Cambridge University Press and Assessment’, ‘Pearson’, ‘Norwich Institute for Language Education’ and ‘Heriot-Watt University’, as well as with the leadership of Turkmen universities.

British experts held master classes on modern methods of teaching English, digital tools and preparation for international exams. During the meetings, opportunities for academic mobility, teacher training, digitalisation of education and joint STEM projects were discussed.

The events strengthened the partnership and support for Turkmenistan's educational initiatives in line with international standards.
