A trilateral meeting between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov took place in the ‘Avaza’ National Tourist Zone on the sidelines of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries. This was reported by the news website Turkmenportal.

The participants discussed strengthening regional cooperation and developing joint projects.

During the meeting, prospects for cooperation in energy, transport, industry and agriculture were noted. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to work out new practical initiatives.
