On 24 May, the Deputy Foreign Affairs Ministers of the Central Asia-China format countries met in Beijing. Turkmenistan was represented by Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Ahmet Gurbanov. It is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The participants discussed preparations for the second summit of the Heads of State of the ‘Central Asia-China’ format, which will be held in June in Astana. The parties presented proposals on the agenda and considered draft final documents.

It was noted that the upcoming summit will be a significant step in strengthening cooperation within the framework of the ‘Central Asia-China’ format, contributing to sustainable development and security in the region.
