Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan Mergen Gurdov held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Turkmenistan Mohd Suhaimi Bin Ahmad Tajuddin on 28 May. This was reported by the press service of the CCI of Turkmenistan.
According to the source, during the talks the interlocutors discussed prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation. The Malaysian Ambassador praised the economic potential of Turkmenistan and emphasised the importance of joint events as an effective platform for the development of mutually beneficial relations between the two countries.
M. Gurdov noted the constructive nature of the dialogue, stressing the openness of Turkmen entrepreneurs to international cooperation. He also emphasised the importance of participation in international exhibitions and economic forums as a tool to enter global markets and noted the broad prospects for the development of trade and economic ties with Malaysia.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed interest in further strengthening of partnership and active co-operation.
