On 5 June, a reporting meeting on the results of the industry's work for the first five months of 2025 was held in the Central Building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan. Participants discussed the tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, at the Cabinet meeting on 4 June. This was reported by the news website TerraNews.

During the meeting, chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov, reports were made by the heads of the state concerns ‘Turkmengas’, ‘Turkmennebit’, the state corporation ‘Turkmengeology’ and other structures. They presented data on oil, gas condensate and liquefied gas production, progress at the ‘Galkynysh’ field, construction of the TAP gas pipeline, and other priority areas.

Batyr Amanov emphasised the need to strengthen control over the implementation of projects, adherence to schedules, acceleration of construction of the Serhetabat-Gerat section and preparation for the summer season at enterprises in the industry.
