The delegation of Turkmenistan spoke at the OSCE Human Dimension Conference in Warsaw, organised by Finland and the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR). This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the OSCE, Hemra Amannazarov, emphasised Turkmenistan's commitment to cooperation with the OSCE and its institutions.

During his speech, he noted the country's achievements in the field of human rights, social policy and humanism. In particular, on 26 September, in honour of the 34th anniversary of independence, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov pardoned 225 convicts, and 142 foreigners received residence permits.

Turkmenistan also completed the settlement of all cases of statelessness on its territory, which was confirmed by the UNHCR and cemented the country's leadership in the global #IBelong campaign. In addition, Turkmenistan's initiative on the International Day of Multilingual Diplomacy at the 80th session of the UN highlighted its commitment to intercultural dialogue and respect for cultural diversity.

The country expressed its readiness to continue cooperating with the OSCE and other international institutions to promote human rights, democracy and the rule of law.
