In Turkmenistan, measures are being considered to modernize the material and technical infrastructure of civil aviation, improve flight safety and enhance the quality of passenger services. This was reported by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Annayev at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting on October 31, according to the TDH news agency.

The work is being carried out in accordance with the standards and regulations of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Opportunities for cooperation with foreign companies are also being explored to improve the efficiency of the aviation sector and enhance passenger services.

Following the report, B. Annayev presented a corresponding proposal. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the initiative and instructed officials to continue efforts to ensure flight safety.
