From October 19 to 30, 2026, an educational program on human rights protection was held in the Republic of Korea, organized by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). This was reported by the press service of the IIR of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Turkmenistan was represented at the course by three specialists from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Institute of State, Law and Democracy, as well as the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Representatives of Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka also took part in the program.

The program was aimed at developing the professional skills of government institution employees in the field of human rights education. During the sessions, participants examined international practices in human rights protection, studied modern approaches to public administration and became familiar with tools for improving the efficiency of government agencies. Particular attention was paid to international experience and methods of implementing human rights principles in the activities of government institutions.
