President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to Sanae Takai on her election as Prime Minister of Japan. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

In his message, the Head of State expressed confidence in the further strengthening of friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Japan, based on mutual understanding, equality and trust.
