About 50 countries have asked Turkmenistan to help their people leave Iran. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

In response, Turkmen checkpoints have already allowed more than 2,000 foreign citizens from Central Asia, Russia, South Korea, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, the UK, and a number of other countries to pass through.

The Turkmenistan authorities are taking the necessary measures to ensure the unimpeded movement of foreign citizens and their return to their home countries, using both land routes and Ashgabat International Airport.
