Turkmenistan's Foreign Affairs Minister Rashid Meredov had a phone conversation with Kyrgyzstan's Foreign Affairs Minister Jeenbek Kulubayev. This was reported by IIC Turkmenistan.

During the conversation, the sides discussed key areas of cooperation and exchanged views on important issues on the regional and international agenda.

Special attention was paid to preparations for the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC 3). The Ministers noted the importance of the conference for promoting the interests of participating countries and strengthening regional cooperation.

At the end of the conversation, the Heads of foreign affairs expressed their readiness to continue developing Turkmen-Kyrgyz relations at both the bilateral and international levels.
