On 12 June, representatives of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Korea met with Lee Jon-young, publisher and editor-in-chief of the English-language Korean publication ‘Diplomacy Journal’. This was reported by the news agency Orient.

During the meeting, they discussed the preparation of a special article on Turkmenistan and opportunities for further information cooperation.

The importance of strengthening Turkmen-Korean ties and upcoming events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality and the International Year of Peace and Trust was emphasised separately.

Following the meeting, Lee Jon-young confirmed that the topics discussed would be covered in the next issue of ‘Diplomacy Journal’.
