Turkmenistan is considering the possibility of increasing the volume of natural gas transit through Iran as part of the strategy to diversify export routes. According to the Foreign Affairs Minister, Ashgabat is also interested in attracting Iranian investments for the implementation of projects in the petrochemical industry. Such interaction, according to the Turkmen side, contributes to more efficient use of natural gas.
