The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, held a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of ‘Çalık Holding’, Ahmet Çalık. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

The businessman congratulated Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on his birthday and the second anniversary of the founding of the city of Arkadag, also conveying greetings from the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

A. Çalık noted the achievements of Turkmenistan and emphasised the significance of the initiatives of the Hero Arkadag. It was noted that the projects he initiated are continuing under the leadership of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

The sides discussed strengthening Turkmen-Turkish cooperation, including in the fields of energy, construction and healthcare. The National Leader of the Turkmen people expressed support for the use of innovative solutions in joint projects and noted the contribution of Turkish companies, especially ‘Çalık Holding’, to the development of Turkmenistan's infrastructure.

A. Çalık confirmed the company's readiness to continue to fulfil its obligations in good faith. At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged warm wishes.
