A delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the tenth meeting of the High-Level Working Group on the Caspian Sea (HLWG), which was held from 5 to 7 May in Moscow. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The event was also attended by delegations from the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation.

During the talks, the interlocutors considered methods of establishing direct baselines in the Caspian Sea, as well as the prospects of preparing the next meeting of foreign ministers. Co-operation in the Caspian Sea was also reviewed.

The next meeting of the HLWG will be held in Turkmenistan on dates that have been agreed upon through diplomatic channels.
