On the sidelines of the CIET 2025 International Conference and Exhibition, Deputy Minister of Energy of Turkmenistan Serdar Saparov held a meeting with Boris Levin, representative of MAN Energy Solutions, according to the online news resource TerraNews.
During the negotiations, they discussed the possibilities of using MAN's advanced technologies to modernise existing energy facilities and build new ones. Particular attention was paid to improving the efficiency of equipment and reducing natural gas consumption.
The parties also considered measures to reduce the carbon footprint, including the introduction of energy-efficient equipment and the use of low-carbon fuels. Issues of technical maintenance, training of Turkmen specialists and the potential localisation of service centres were discussed.
The meeting demonstrates Turkmenistan's desire to attract global technology leaders to achieve its strategic goals in the field of energy security and sustainable development.
