Turkmen Foreign Ministry Discusses Cooperation with ICAPP Representative

On June 9, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between Deputy Foreign Minister Myahri Byashimova and Jong Tae In, Special Envoy of the Secretariat of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP). This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects of Turkmen-Korean cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres. They highlighted the importance of high-level contacts, regular political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries, and the development of interparliamentary cooperation.
The interlocutors emphasized the successful cooperation within international organizations, including the United Nations, as well as the significance of multilateral formats of interaction. Particular attention was given to expanding trade and economic partnership, including in the fields of energy, chemical industry, transport, and infrastructure.
The importance of strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries was also noted. At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their readiness to further develop comprehensive cooperation.
