President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated his compatriots, as well as cultural and artistic figures, on the Day of Workers of Culture and Art and the Day of Magtymguly Pyragy. The Head of State wished them health, prosperity and creative success, according to the state news agency TDH.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that Turkmenistan is consistently implementing the initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, which contributes to strengthening the country's international authority. According to the President of Turkmenistan, cultural diplomacy plays an important role in this process, contributing to the development of friendship between peoples.

The Head of State noted that the country is creating broad opportunities for the promotion of Turkmen culture and literature, as well as for the support of creative workers. Particular attention is being paid to promoting the heritage of Magtymguly Pyragy, in whose honour international anniversary events were held last year.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov also stated that the development of culture remains a priority of state policy. The state is investing in infrastructure, supporting cultural institutions and improving the training of specialists, especially in the regions.

The President of Turkmenistan expressed confidence that cultural workers will continue to contribute to the prosperity of the country and assured them of continued attention to their needs and initiatives.
