The Chairman of the State Concern ‘Türkmennebit’ Guvanch Agajanov held a working meeting with representatives of the World Bank Robert Anton Bernard Van der Geest and Sandu Ghidirim, according to the news website Asmannews.

During the meeting, current and future joint projects in the oil and gas industry were discussed. The main focus was on increasing the efficiency of hydrocarbon production, introducing modern technologies and attracting investment in the energy sector.

G. Agajanov emphasised the importance of long-term cooperation with the World Bank and expressed confidence in the further strengthening of the partnership aimed at the sustainable development of Turkmenistan's energy sector.
