On 7 November, Muhammetniyaz Mashalov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Indonesia, presented his credentials to Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto. This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan.

During the event, the Ambassador conveyed greetings and best wishes to the President of Indonesia on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The President of Indonesia congratulated the Diplomat on his appointment and expressed hope for the successful development of bilateral relations. During the conversation, the parties emphasised their desire to expand cooperation in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The Turkmen side also invited the President of Indonesia to visit Ashgabat.

After the ceremony, the Ambassador took part in a meeting of newly appointed Ambassadors with Foreign Affairs Minister Sugiono, who confirmed his readiness to support their diplomatic activities.

The parties agreed to maintain regular interdepartmental contacts to strengthen cooperation between the two states.
