Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and Head of the General Directorate for Central Asia and the Organisation of Turkic States of the Turkish Foreign Ministry Togan Oral held talks at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on June 5. During the meeting, the sides conducted a comprehensive review of the current state of bilateral relations, paying special attention to the development of cooperation in political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The interlocutors considered the prospects of deepening partnership both in the bilateral format and within the framework of multilateral cooperation within the framework of international organisations. The sides reaffirmed mutual interest in further strengthening of Turkmen-Turkish relations.
