A phone conversation was held on 26 November between Rashid Meredov, Foreign Affairs Minister of Turkmenistan, and Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Foreign Affairs Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan.

The parties noted the consistent development of bilateral relations and emphasised the importance of ongoing political dialogue at the highest level.

The Ministers of Foreign Affairs discussed key areas of cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

Special attention was paid to cooperation in multilateral formats, including the UN and the OIC.

The main topic of conversation was the preparation for the International Forum on Peace and Trust, which will be held on 12 December in Ashgabat.
