On 6 November, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation hosted a meeting with Hamdi Shaaban Abdelhalim Mohamed, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Turkmenistan (residing in Moscow). This was reported by the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic mission.

The diplomats discussed the state of bilateral relations, as well as current international issues of mutual interest. Particular attention was paid to the possibilities for cooperation between the embassies of both countries to effectively solve the tasks facing them.

The meeting also considered the prospects for mutual support in nominating candidates to the elected bodies of international organisations.
