President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov said at the Forum of Peace and Trust in Ashgabat that the adoption of the Constitutional Law «On the Legal Foundations of the Policy of Peace and Trust of Neutral Turkmenistan» marked an important step in strengthening the country’s foreign policy course. According to him, the document закрепляет an orientation toward sustainable peace and stability, the state news agency «Turkmenistan: The Golden Age» reported.

The head of state noted that in the current environment, issues of peace and trust have taken on particular significance. He emphasized that their recognition at the international level helps shift the focus from confrontation to a more balanced and practical approach to security and development.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov added that the promotion of these principles is possible only through joint efforts by countries and international organizations. He stressed that the UN Charter and international legal norms should remain the foundation of such work.
