Two lecturers from the Oguz Han University of Engineering and Technology in Turkmenistan are undergoing training at the Innovation Centre for NanoMedicine (iCONM) in Kawasaki, Japan, from 1 to 17 October. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

The trip was organised as part of a Memorandum of Understanding between the university and iCONM to exchange scientific experience and develop advanced technologies. The iCONM centre specialises in nanotechnology, nanomedicine and nanomaterials.

The visit is aimed at improving the qualifications of teachers, developing joint scientific projects and strengthening international cooperation in the field of higher education. The knowledge gained will help to introduce innovative methods in the training of young engineers in Turkmenistan.
