Students from the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages have been given the opportunity to study in Japan for a year. This was reported by the news website Asmannews.

One of the students from the Faculty of Oriental Languages and Literature (preparatory pedagogical department) has been sent to study at Tsukuba University as part of an exchange and cooperation agreement between the two universities.

Another student from the same faculty successfully passed the entrance exams and was enrolled in a one-year internship programme in Japanese language and culture, implemented by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) in the 2025-2026 academic year.

Such educational initiatives provide students with practical experience and promote international cooperation in the scientific and academic spheres, as well as helping to train specialists with a high level of professional and cultural competence.
