At the 10th Central Asian Karate Championship, the Turkmenistan team continued its successful performance, winning five medals of various denominations on the second day of the competition. The team's medal tally increased to 12 medals in two days with the addition of a gold, silver and three bronze medals. This was reported by the online publication ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.
Bogdan Kiselev, a student of the Young Olympians Training School, won gold in the 52 kg weight category among cadets. Resul Garatayev, representing the security service of the President of Turkmenistan, won silver in the 55 kg category among athletes under 21 years of age.
Bronze medals were won by Nurgeldi Shamedov, Alymuhammet Kakalyev and Garamammet Garamammedov, who showed excellent results in their weight categories.
