Turkmen delegation took part in the conference on digital education in China

The Turkmen delegation headed by Deputy Education Minister Alexander Amanov took part in the World Conference on Digital Education ‘Education Development and Transformation: The Era of Intelligence’, which was held from 14 to 16 May in Wuhan (China). This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

According to the source, during his speech at the plenary session, the representative of Turkmenistan shared the national experience of digitalisation of education. Particular emphasis was placed on the Concept of Digital Education Development for 2017-2025, in the process of implementation of which electronic platforms, educational networks, e-library system, AR/VR technologies are being introduced.

In addition, the Turkmen side paid special attention to the study of Chinese experience, including the results of cooperation with the Beijing Normal University (BNU) and the Central China Normal University (CCNU), as well as the implementation of the joint roadmap with the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education for 2024-2025.

The delegation of Turkmenistan expressed readiness to cooperate within the framework of the Digital Public Goods Alliance initiative and supported the idea of creating an international online platform for joint development of digital education standards.
