On June 23, a delegation of Turkmenistan led by the Chairman of the Board of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rahimberdi Jepbarov, is taking part in the OPEC Fund Development Forum held in Vienna. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The event, held under the slogan “A transition that expands the opportunities of our tomorrow,” brought together representatives of governments, international financial institutions, and the business community. This year’s forum also marks the 50th anniversary of the OPEC Fund for International Development.
During the visit, the Turkmen delegation held a series of meetings with the President of the OPEC Fund for International Development, Dr. Abdulhamid Al Khalifa, the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, and the President of the Turkic Investment Fund, Baghdad Amreyev.
The country’s participation in the forum underscores its active engagement with international financial institutions and development structures.
