Turkmen athletes won medals at the Central Asian Badminton Championships in Tashkent. This was reported by the news website Turkmenportal.

The competition was attended by 97 athletes from seven countries in three age categories: under 15, under 17 and under 23.

The first medal went to Anastasia Kulikova and Evelina Efremova in the girls' doubles under 15: the Turkmen athletes reached the semi-finals and won bronze.

The second bronze medal was won by Billal Saryev and Gulshen Amanova in the mixed doubles under 23, losing to the Kazakh team in the semi-finals.
